Wonderful real estate agent and more importantly a great friend

“I was very fortunate 5 years ago when I was paired up with Ryan Degheri on Torrey Pines golf course. During our round we realized that we both live downtown San Diego. Ryan had mentioned during our round that he was a real estate agent and was very familiar with the downtown market. I had just moved to San Diego with my wife from Manhattan, NY. We knew we would eventually buy in San Diego, but we had no time frame. Ryan handed me his business card when we left the golf course that day. Since that day at Torrey Pines, Ryan has become one of our closest friends. When 4 units went on the market in La Vita we told Ryan we wanted to look at all of them. He immediately got us into all the units and helped us through the whole buying process. Buying in California is very different than when we purchased our home in NYC. Ryan was very helpful with this new experience. Plus, we had a very unique loan from NFCU and Ryan took the time to call our loan officer to make sure the loan would work with the building we were buying in. When we started to negotiate, Ryan was very knowledgeable with the process. He even managed to get us a credit toward some of the repairs. He also worked around our busy work schedules when it came to sign paperwork. He would come to our apartment either early in the morning or late in the evening so it could be processed in a timely manner. At the time of the closing, Ryan was on vacation. He made sure that we had a contact person if we had any questions. Sarah Tandy was very helpful during this process. She helped us do a final walk-through and got us the keys once the sale was final. Golfing opens many doors. I am very grateful for the day I met Ryan at Torrey Pines. He is a wonderful real estate agent and more importantly a great friend.”
